The Park School of Baltimore
For this edition of Almabase Spotlights featuring K-12 Schools, we shine the spotlight on The Park School of Baltimore and their Virtual Trivia Night, that witnessed immense success, driving heavy engagement within their alumni community.
💡 A Virtual Trivia Idea That Brought the Alumni Community Together
Many institutions have been able to leverage the virtual platform to engage their alumni since the last year - The Park School of Baltimore is certainly one of them. The alumni missed some major in-person events last year, but the Alumni Council was sure not to miss an opportunity to bring back some fun through their Virtual Trivia Night. With the COVID-19 situation improving across the country, the school will now be focusing on hybrid events for their alumni and easing back to some in-person events.
📚 The Virtual Trivia Night
The Alumni Council at The Park School of Baltimore hosted their first Virtual Trivia Night in February this year. The event turned out to be a huge success, with over a hundred alumni in attendance. The trivia took entries for teams of four to six alumni - while individual participants were also allowed, who were then grouped by the Alumni Council. The teams were quizzed with general trivia questions, covering a wide range of topics and categories. The winning team was awarded with some amazing Park School goodies; however, all the participants stood as winners, bagging a fun evening with their peers. The Virtual Trivia Night was so successful, that it was brought back on-demand in June - witnessing high engagement, yet again.
